The Light That Stays

Through storms and silence, the light remains —
not always bright, but never gone.
It hides in tears, in laughter, in the smallest spark
that refuses to be swallowed by the dark.

I have fallen, but not faded.
I have broken, but not disappeared.
Because somewhere deep inside,
the light that stays still burns.

The Leaves Will Move Again

The trees stand still through winter’s breath,
bare, patient, waiting for what’s next.
And though the world feels quiet — asleep —
I know the leaves will move again.

Because stillness isn’t death,
it’s just the earth catching its breath.

Angel of Death & Falling Leaves

The wind is my eternal frenemy.
It whispers the names of the lost,
and dances through the graves of memory.

In its cold hands, I find both ending and rebirth —
a reminder that even death has poetry.

The Night Held Its Breath

The air was cold — like a secret.
We walked beneath the moon’s slow pulse,
and the night held its breath for us.

Your eyes found mine in that suspended silence,
where time forgot to move,
and even the stars seemed to wait
for what we might become.
